You think you know it all

 

You think you know it all

But you don’t

You think it’s easy

But it ain’t

You bottle up the feels

Because you don’t want anyone to see

The pain of their actions.

 

As you walk this world you walk alone

With a circle of friends that are by your side

As you face the mirror

And the image is pretty

You find every blemish

To dwell on

As you walk this world you feel the loneliness

Because you battle every emotion inside.

 

When seconds turn to minutes

We are already at the hour

Our mind has been lost on

What’s been inside our mind

With empty

Yet deep

Thoughts

So when someone asks

What’ is wrong?

Our mind is loathed with pain

Pain that we bottled up inside

That’s the woman you hates to live this way.

So she prays.

 

You have a woman that wants,

You have a woman that needs;

You.

Needs you to ask;

As her man of her world;

What do you need from me?
What do you want from me today that will help you?

How can I help you feel safe?

How can I make you feel safe?

How can I learn to make you feel better and safe?

That maybe today you feel lost,

But tomorrow I have learnt that;

I will do better

And each day I’m learning

How to understand you,

And be the man that I need to be.

For you.
